Hello!

I am very excited to share my love for islands and entrepreneurship with the world through this podcast!
Jumping Ship Podcast was born from a love of islands and self made small businesses. I grew up spending my summers on the island of Martha's Vineyard and have witnessed many small business pop up over the years. Some of these business have completely flourished and expanded off island, some did really well for a year and closed down, and others do well keeping things small and consistent.

Seeing the growth of these self made business at a young age, propelled me to study entrepreneurship to see what it takes to start your own company. I have met the nicest and most hardworking people that started their own business, and actually much rather prefer to work with them than in a large corporation. I am here to tell their stories, and maybe learn a few things along the way to one day start my own business as well.

A big thank you to my family for giving me the opportunity to see life through a different view by being on an island.
